Superbowl 2012 at the Maynard household. Jamison slept the majority of the game close to Mommy, while Jaxson was busy helping all the family choose their squares.
Jaxson has been such an amazing big brother and adjusted so well that we have rewarded him with his first pet..."Fishy Maynard." He is very into ocean life from caring for his fish, watching Nemo, and Planet Earth oceans. He loves to tell stories about them saying "Remember the sea turtles...?" "Remember when they went in the big whales mouth?" "Remember the dolphins swimming in the big ocean?"
Sometimes Jaxson will tell me to put Jamison in his swing so we can play or cuddle for some one on one time. Other times Jaxson will ask to hold his brother and play with him in the jungle. Whatever mood he is in he loves him so much and is always hugging and kissing him.
Lately our weekends have been very crafty. Both Jesse and I enjoy doing artistic projects, and with my new obsession with Pinterest I have found some great ideas to keep us all entertained and decorate our house.
We took a box of crayons, sorted the colors and hot glued them to the top of a canvas.
We then took the blow dryer to heat up the crayons and watched them melt.

Jaxson enjoyed painting a canvas with the letter J marked off in tape. He then added red, and yellow paint. I will post his finished product next time. Our little Jaxson Pollock.
Playing in our tunnel with the balls. He is such a goof. Jaxson loves to sing The Wheels On the Bus, Rubber Ducky, If You're Happy and You Know It, and he knows his ABC's....such a smart lil cookie and he's not even two (March 19th he will be).
Hi handsome 2 month old. Poor little monkey has caught his brother's cold, but he's on the mend, and finally starting to sleep again. Jamison has also mastered the adorable smile and little baby coos. He is much more alert and eager for some interaction and play time. His bright blue eyes and open mouthed smile just melt my heart. We are up to 12 lbs and counting and have our 2 month check up the 7th of March.
