Well it's been two weeks since we brought our lil man home, and it feels like he's always been here. Jesse and I having been soaking up all the precious moments of being a family of three, and just watching our son thrive and grow in his new world. He has been such a relaxed and content baby sleeping up to 4 hours and hanging out, and only fussy when he's getting a cold diaper change or hungry. Jaxson has been one busy and lucky boy to have so much family and friends who love him and have come to visit since he has been home. Here are some things Jaxson has been up to in his past 2 weeks of life:
Doctors Visit: Jaxson had two great check-ups at his pediatrician Dr. Germain (who was also my pediatrician). He is continuing to gain weight, and is now a whopping 10 lbs. and 23 inches as of Friday, April 2nd. We go back for his one month check-up on the 22nd.
First Bath: His cord finally fell off which means he could experience his first tubby. He didn't seem much of a fan first time around. Hopefully next attempt is more pleasant.
First Family Outing: We all went to the local Capron Park Zoo for Jaxson's first exciting excursion and stroller rode this weekend. Jaxson was a very good boy just hanging out in the stroller checking things out while we walked around viewing the animals, and he only had one mini melt down. One little girl said upon seeing Jaxson that he was the best thing she saw all day!
Easter: We dressed up the lil dude in his first real outfit of corduroy pants, button down shirt, and sweater vest. He then hung out with some friends and family before he was off to Grandma and Grandpa's next door for an Easter BBQ.
